So many different options, the shrimp balls that come in the bamboo were particularly delicious. I also loved the homemade shrimp dumplings. Aunty was really nice, but we didn't know there was a time limit, there wasn't a lot of signage. The sauce bar was one of my favorite parts, I love how many different sauce options there are. The best part, as always, was the shave ice at the end!

We love it here! Our 2nd time and it never fails. The variety of broths makes it most interesting to try. The refrigerated sides, the selection of sauces makes it more exciting! The service always welcoming and being checked on is awesome. We love the colorful "Aunty's" wall that makes it so fun too. We'll be back and Thank you again!

Longgg overdue review, been coming to auntys-- go to hot pot place. Service is amazing and so is aunty herself, she is very welcoming and kind which also just makes coming here so much more worth it. Great interior and very family friendly. Check out auntys rolling beef appetizer and also loveee the shave ice that is on the house, flavors change throughout the week or so , but all taste amazing! Auntys is best hot pot on oahu!

Love this place, cute and so clean! This place hits the spot when you're craving some soup! The ingredients are fresh and yummy, service is top notch, always someone refilling drinks, checking up on us, and offering free dessert at the end! Not quite all you can eat but very affordable. 10/10 recommend!!

Aunty is always so happy! We met her when she was in Waikiki and when they closed we were so sad that we had to find another hotpot place. It just hits different when they give you free shave ice after a hot meal. I got the herbal base and bunch of meat. There's a sauce bar and a lot of sides to pick from in the sliding fridge. The flavored alcohol was pretty good too, not too strong but flavorful.

Aunty's Hotpot is sooo amazing and so close to home! Yes, this is the same Aunty who owned the former Aunty's Ramen off McCully. I was excited when she not only returned with Taiwanese hotpot instead of local style ramen, but she reopened in Kapolei, where parking is better and where there are far fewer solid food choices than in town! I actually think her hotpot is better than her ramen since diners can actually cook their own soup! Taiwanese hotpot differs from mala tang (Sichuan hotpot) and shabu shabu (Japanese hotpot), but they're all tasty in their own way! Aunty's Hotpot format is similar to most local/Taiwanese style hotpot places on the island. You pick your broth (you can actually switch your broth if you're pau with your bowl), protein, toppings (veggies, noodles, etc.), and sauces. Broths range from standard chicken/beef/pork/veggie broths to lemongrass, tonkotsu, or pho. What makes this standard format even more special is Aunty's personality, the same one everyone has loved since Aunty's Ramen. You can order your broth at a higher spice level than the menu's suggested level 3, but be careful! One time, my cousin asked Aunty for the hottest spice level for his tonkotsu broth, level 10! Aunty kindly warned him that the broth would basically be unbearable and suggested to start with half that spice level, a level 5, still higher than any of the menu's suggested spice levels. My cousin told Aunty his level 5 tonkotsu broth was perfectly spicy for him. Warning: I could smell the spice wafting from his broth, so I would suggest sticking with spice levels 1-3. Yes, she still serves her famous shareable complimentary Taiwanese shave ice, still loaded with boba, custard, lilikoi syrup, and colorful tapioca. I was so excited when I heard plans of opening an "Aunty's Hau Hale" at the same mall and where she would sell her famous shave ice, plus bubble waffles and smoothies! I think her shave ice is worth paying for. Aunty's Hau Hale is already open on the same side as Cinnabon/Auntie Annie's! I'm hungry just thinking about this meal on a cool February morning. As Aunty's Hotpot House is popular, be forewarned of wait times. I'm not sure if they take reservations, but it's worth finding out or allow yourself time to wait. Just don't go hungry or the aroma of broths will make the wait excruciating!

Service and food is always 100% I love eating at places that you walk in and feel welcomed like you're family. Their broth is always spot on. Will always be our #1 spot for our whole family to enjoy. Don't even get me started with the dessert. Trust me, Aunty's will not disappoint!

Hot Soup! Hot Soup! On my first visit to AHH, the warning cry of "hot soup" was heard repeatedly throughout the Friday night dinner rush. And rightly so, as the restaurant was packed with West-siders wanting their hot pot fix. Welcome to Aunty's Hotpot House. NOTES 1. Plentiful parking available at Ka Makana Ali'i. 2. They're able to accommodate separate checks (during my visit last month, we asked for 3 separate checks for a party of 6). The restaurant is bright and welcoming. Seating can accommodate small and large groups. There are heating devices/units on the tables to ensure your soup stays hot....or warm at the very least (the temp can be adjusted). ORDERING NOTES 1. Choose your broth 2. Choose your protein (not AYCE). 3. Order appetizers and/or drinks 4. Select your hot pot "adds" from the refrigerators in the rear of the restaurant. The plates are different price points depending on the colour (similar to Genki Sushi, just not on a conveyor). The price "guide" is above the refrigerators. Once the hot soup is brought to your table, you're ready to cook and eat. I appreciated the variety of choices that can be added to the hot pot. There are vegetables, meats, fish cake, and noodles to name a few. I chose mainly vegetables and fish cake to add to my hot pot broth (kim chee based) along with the pork belly I ordered. After dinner is finished, the staff provide a complimentary dessert of flavoured tapioca that's served in enormous bowl. It was the perfect end to a very filling meal. SERVICE The staff is very welcome, polite, and quite friendly. I appreciated very much that they were able to accommodate our request for separate checks. BOTTOM LINE A satisfying hot pot experience on the West side. Recommended.

Only been here twice and my family and I love it! Service is great upon entrance, during dine in, and when leaving. Staff is nice and makes sure we're okay while there. I must add auntie is very helpful and soooo nice that my kids love talking to her! Haha There is so much variety of food to choose from! Literally a hot pot haven! But they also offer appetizers and other stuff! The place is clean, spacious, and they even have their own big bathrooms. They are kid friendly! Basically, you choose a broth, they'll ask of you want rice, & if you want choose your meats, then grab your dishes of all types like noodles, veggies, seafood, n etc. (prices vary by color), if you want make your own sauce they have a sauce station. And there you have it cook your food and eat! My kids love the complimentary HUGE boba shave ice that they give after we're done eating! Definitely will keep coming back here!!!

When you walk in to the restaurant youre greeted by the auntie who seems to run the place. She really makes the place light up Coming here i was just expecting some good hot pot. And i did get that. The have a nice fridge secrion with a ton of variety to choose and customize your own hot pot with. Its kind of a fun ordeal. The sauce bar was also full of options to choose from. After overeating we were greeted with a giant bowl of shaved ice packed with toppings! I'll probably have to be more aware of how much i order next time. I hope they keep that complimentary shaved ice at Aunties. Its was so decadent with boba and tons of toppings.
